For users#

Any EVM wallet that supports custom networks works. Connect and approve the network request; your wallet shows exactly what is being added.

Manual settings#

Add the network from a dapp#

Use EIP-3085 wallet_addEthereumChain, then switch with wallet_switchEthereumChain. Many wallets return error code 4902 from the switch call when they do not know the chain yet; add it and try again.

For wallet developers#

Accounts and signing

• Addresses are standard Ethereum addresses. Use the normal BIP-44 path m/44'/60'/0'/0/0; no chain-specific derivation.
• Send EIP-1559 (type 2) transactions, or legacy transactions with EIP-155. Always include chain ID 305583.
• Type 4 (EIP-7702) transactions are not supported: the Prague hard fork is not active.
• Read nonces with eth_getTransactionCount(address, "pending"). There is one transaction pool, so pending state is authoritative.

Balances, tokens and prices

• Native balance: eth_getBalance, 18 decimals, symbol tZROAR.
• Read name(), symbol() and decimals() on-chain for every token. Do not ship a hardcoded token list: addresses can change after a reset, and tZUSD uses 6 decimals, not 18.
• There is no price feed for any Testnet asset. Show “Test network, no value” rather than a USD figure.

Confirmations, history and resets

• One confirmation is final (see finality).
• Internal (contract-to-contract) value transfers cannot be shown: trace APIs are disabled. Show top-level transactions and token events.
• Cache the genesis hash and clear cached tokens, nonces and history when it changes. See Testnet resets.
• Only offer a “Get test tokens” button when the active chain is 305583, and link to the faucet(opens in a new tab).
