Introduction
What the Zroarus Testnet is, what is live, and how these docs are verified.
Zroarus is an EVM-compatible blockchain. These docs cover everything you need to build on its public Testnet today: connecting, funding a test wallet, deploying contracts, and the exact behaviour and limits of the network.
Mainnet is not live
Zroarus is in Testnet testing. No Mainnet chain ID or endpoints have been published, and Testnet tokens never convert to Mainnet tokens. What the Testnet is#
The Testnet is a public test network where anyone can deploy contracts and try applications before Mainnet exists. Fees are effectively zero and test tokens are free from the faucet. It can also be reset, which wipes all state, so treat everything you deploy as reproducible from scripts.
If you have built on Ethereum, the tools are the same: Solidity, Foundry, Hardhat, viem, ethers and any wallet that supports custom networks. Compile for the Cancun EVM.
What is live#
| Service | Address | Status |
|---|---|---|
| HTTPS JSON-RPC | https://rpc.testnet.zroarus.com | Live |
| WebSocket JSON-RPC | wss://rpc.testnet.zroarus.com/ws | Live |
| Block explorer + API | https://explorer-testnet.zroarus.com(opens in a new tab) | Live |
| Faucet | https://faucet-testnet.zroarus.com(opens in a new tab) | Live |
| Contract verification | On the explorer | Experimental |
| Testnet | Not published | Planned |
| Mainnet | Not published | Planned |
Live health for each service is on the status page.
Status labels#
- Live: available now and checked against the running service.
- Experimental: available but still being tested; expect rough edges and please report them.
- Planned: not available. Nothing here should be built against yet.
How these docs are verified#
Network values come from one configuration file that is checked against the live chain before every deployment of this site. Limits such as the maximum log range and batch size were measured on the Testnet on 2026-09-27. Where something could not be verified, the page says so.
Getting help#
- Stuck on a deploy or an RPC call: ask for technical help.
- Something in these docs is wrong or missing: send developer feedback.
- Building something bigger: Foundation grants are coming soon.
